{"id":1199,"date":"2010-09-20T17:54:23","date_gmt":"2010-09-20T14:54:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.optimiced.com\/en\/?p=1199"},"modified":"2010-09-20T17:56:27","modified_gmt":"2010-09-20T14:56:27","slug":"the-power-of-adobe-fireworks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.optimiced.com\/en\/2010\/09\/20\/the-power-of-adobe-fireworks\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;The Power of Adobe Fireworks&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>My second big article for Smashing Mag was published last Friday:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.smashingmagazine.com\/2010\/09\/17\/the-power-of-adobe-fireworks-what-can-you-achieve-with-it\/\">The Power of Adobe Fireworks: What Can You Achieve With It?<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.optimiced.com\/wp-uploads\/2010\/09\/firefox-logo.jpg\" title=\"The Mozilla Firefox logo was made with Fireworks\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.optimiced.com\/wp-uploads\/2010\/09\/firefox-logo.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.optimiced.com\/wp-uploads\/2010\/09\/photoshop-cs5-splash-screen.jpg\" title=\"The Photoshop CS5 splash screen was also made with Fireworks\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.optimiced.com\/wp-uploads\/2010\/09\/photoshop-cs5-splash-screen.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A few days later, the article has over 100 comments, was re-tweeted over 1000 times (!), managed to get to the front page of <a href=\"http:\/\/delicio.us\">delicio.us<\/a> (as one of the most bookmarked online resources for one day), and was <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/Oatmeal\/status\/24870588572\">mentioned<\/a> even by cool dudes such as Matthew Inman, whose comic strip <a href=\"http:\/\/theoatmeal.com\/comics\">TheOatmeal<\/a> is also 100% pure Fireworks work.<\/p>\n<p>Among all the interesting, valuable, pointless, positive and negative comments, I mostly liked comments like &#8220;Why you put the Firefox logo at the beginning of the article, if the article is about Fireworks?&#8221;&#8230; ;)<\/p>\n<p>Anyway&#8230; after a few nights of hard work (and countless days, spent in front of my ThinkPad with a cup of coffee), the article was finally published&#8230; but right now I am just feeling tired.<\/p>\n<p>Writing my <em>smashing article #2<\/em> was actually very fun and inspiring, but now there&#8217;s only work ahead of me, so&#8230; <em>I&#8217;m going back to my ThinkPad and my cup of coffee!<\/em> ;)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My second big article for Smashing Mag was published last Friday: The Power of Adobe Fireworks: What Can You Achieve With It?
