Last Saturday, we met my grand-pa for the first time. On Sunday, he turned 95! :-)

I love the grass, the Sun, the rain, the colors… :-)

This is the European Peacock butterfly (Inachis io)

(I’d say that Canon S5 IS has a lot of downsides, but sometimes its macro mode is amazingly good!:-)

The shot is from April 4th this year, from near the town of Svoge.

This is a photo experiment from a few days ago… It’s nothing spectacular (and with a Canon S5 IS this is almost the maximum you can achieve)… I added a bit of contrast and one effect (using Adobe Fireworks).

Still, I kinda like it. And sometimes I dream of the moment when I can make a photo using F 21 number and 2 minutes exposition time (at least)… :-)

A small walk this afternoon, with Emicha, in the center of Sofia.

The sun was bright, the snow was shining and melting around us… :-)

We want to the countryside on this Sunday…

I ‘catched’ this small spider using our modest Canon S5 IS, a few seconds before it was lost somewhere in the grass… :-)

…this morning was very beautiful, and so was the sky…

(Usually I sleep at this time of the day, but there are exceptions to the rule… like today. And now I go to make tea and coffee and wake up my beloved;-)

Sometimes you forget about some photos.

…And sometimes you can find one, while browsing your own photo archives on the hard-disk, and say to yourself ‘Wow! I like this one! Why don’t I post it on my blog?’…

And so I did, with this one:)

I like it. It was made while on the bicycle, after a heavy rain, and with the sun shining brightly…
